Finally!!!

Hi everyone! First of all, let me apologize to everyone for not updating my blog sooner. I had a lot of people reminding me that I needed to update. So, I'm probably not going to be the kind of blogger that will update once a week, so if I can do it once a month, consider that good!
I hope everyone had Happy Holidays! We had a great Christmas and New Year. On Dec. 15th, my baby, Zoey, turned 2! I can't believe it! Zoey is such a special, fun girl. She has got quite a personality! She is Miss Social and will go up and talk to anyone and everyone no matter where we are. She also loves to sing and dance and change her clothes at least 3 times a day! Anyways, she had a really fun birthday party with most of her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins there to celebrate with her. She loved all of the dolls, clothes, and dress-up accessories that she got from everyone! I have such a wonderful, supportive family! I'm so lucky!!! P.S. I've posted some of the pictures from Zoey's party.
Christmas was great! We spent it at our house and the kids were so excited to run downstairs and see what Santa brought them. Santa did a good job on the presents because they all seemed pretty happy! Later we went to dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Bolda's house and then on to Grandma and Papa Jacobson's house for some more food and to talk to Uncle Max on the phone who is serving a mission in Uruguay.
New Year's Eve we went to our friends' house up the street and ate and played games until midnight. The kids actually stayed awake until then and didn't even get grumpy! We had a fun time ringing in the New Year with our friends!
On New Years Day, we went to Nephi to visit Tyler's sister and her family. We actually ended up taking the families down to Yuba Lake to go ice fishing. I actually thought that just the boys were going to be going, so I wasn't prepared with warm clothes for Zoey and I. So, we ended up borrowing some. I posted our pictures from that on a slide show. Everyone thought Zoey looked like E.T. with her cousin Rylie's clothes on, but at least she stayed warm! Even though I was hesitant to go out in the freezing cold to fish, it actually turned out fun! The kids loved it, and even though my boys didn't catch any fish, they had a blast watching their cousins get some! P.S. The photos on the slide show were taken by my sister-in-law, Amie, who is an awesome photographer! You can check out her website at www.steeleyourheartphoto.com.
Well, THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! Only 10 more days until Tyler and I get to go on our first cruise ever to the "Exotic Carribean!" For those of you that haven't heard, on Jan. 25th we get to cruise to the islands of Aruba, Grenada, St. Maarten, and some other tropical places I can't think of right now. We are going with 3 other couples in our ward and are so excited and...no kids! Crazy! I think I'll have a hard time leaving them since we've never left them this long before, but I think it will be a nice break! I know I'll come back loving them even more because I will miss them so much!
Ok, that's all of the updates for now. I will post again sometime after the cruise and hopefully have lots of great pictures to show all of you!
Love,
April

P.S. Here are some of our ice fishing pictures!
