Ouch!!!

My little Brayden had to have 8 staples put in his head today! Here's how it went down: Brayden and a neighbor boy that I was watching were playing with this back-stretching machine thing of Tyler's. I caught them doing it, and told them about 3 different times to stop playing with it because someone will get hurt. The reason they can get hurt is because one kid was standing on each side of the machine and the other would let it go and the weight would slam it back down into an upright position. So, the metal bars, where you put your feet, could easily hit somebody on the way back down. And that's exactly what it did. As I went up the stairs after seeing them walk away from the machine after I told them to stop playing with it, Brayden started crying hard! Now, he's a tough kid and doesn't usually cry, so I knew he was really hurt. I went downstairs and saw the blood coming from his head just pouring down his face and went and washed it off so I could see where the cut was. I finally found it and he had a deep 2 inch gash on his head. Tyler wasn't home from work yet so I waited until he got home and then took Brayden to Urgent Care, where he then got staples. Anyways, here are a couple of pictures so you can see the staples (hope you don't have a weak stomach), and then you can see the sad face he was making the whole time at the doctor. Poor guy!

Our Cruise!!!

Hi everyone! Well, we are back from our cruise and we had a wonderful time! It was everything I thought it would be and more! We went to the islands of St. Martin, Granada, Dominica, Bonaire, and Aruba! They were all beautiful, but Bonaire was my favorite! We went snorkeling and saw some really neat fish and sea turtles! The water was georgeous!
We also had a blast on the ship! The food was amazing! We ate and ate and then danced and danced! We did go with 3 other couples and had so much fun! The guys had a ping pong tournament every night while the girls either hung out and had "girl talk" or went dancing!
I think my favorite part of the trip was seeing the different islands and being able to relax on the white, sandy beaches! It was heaven! Tyler and I had such a great time and became closer to each other by going on that cruise! I definitely recommend it to everyone!
We did miss our kids a lot, but I think that they were happy with their souvenirs that we brought back. Thanks to all of our family who watched them all week! We owe you guys so much!
We are already ready to go on another cruise. I heard it's addicting and it's true! Can I just say that I love my husband so much and am so grateful for the opportunity to have gotten to spend quality time with him? We don't get to do that very often with the kids but I'm so glad I had the chance! I love you Tyler and love my kids so much too! I definitely have more patience and love for them since I've been back! Thank you to them for letting us go!
Here is a slide of some of our cruise pictures! Enjoy!
