Fall

Every year we have a tradition of driving down to The Red Barn in Santaquin, Utah, to pick out pumpkins for Halloween. Fortunately, Tyler was home to go with us, as he is usually away on business. Before we went down, we decided to stop at Pirate Island to have some lunch. Pirate Island is a new pirate-themed restaurant that just opened. The kids had fun eating pizza, playing games, and making pirate faces!
Then it was off to the pumpkin patch. When we got there, we ate homemade ice cream and bought apple cider doughnuts, apple juice, a big bag of apples, and some jam to take home with us. (The Red Barn is an apple orchard also.) We got on the hayride and set out to get our pumpkins! The three kids each picked out their own and we took some fun pictures to remember it!
After the pumpkin patch, we stopped in Spring Lake to feed the ducks. The kids loved it, especially Tyce, who had never seen ducks or geese before! Needless to say, we were cracking up the whole time as the geese were coming up to Tyce and eating bread right out of his car seat! He loved it too, as the pictures will tell! I love this time of year as we get to make more fun memories and spend quality time together as a family!!!
